(Newser) – Add MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews to the ranks of people who are demanding to see President Obama's long-form birth certificate—not because he doesn't believe the president is American, but to quiet the "birthers" who don't believe it. "I am not a birther, I am an enemy of the birthers," Matthews said. Matthews referenced a poll that shows that less than 58% of Americans believe Obama was born in the US. "Are you saying 43% of the country is incorrigibly stupid, or resistant to truth?" he asks. To watch the Matthews video, click here.

THIS IS SO OLD NEWS. The man has been in office for half of his term already. Get over it and move the hell on. If we can get over "Mission Accomplished" and move on, this "Birther" thing needs to follow suit. There is so much more important stuff going on in the world today.
