In a case of life imitating Seinfeld, a 23-year-old guy in South Carolina thought it would be a great idea to play a real-life version of Frogger—and got hit by an SUV for his trouble. The man was talking about the video game with friends—it involves navigating frogs across a busy road—before shouting “go” and running into traffic Monday night, the AP reports. He was hospitalized, but was set to be released yesterday; the driver will likely not be charged.

The police chief, not surprisingly, suspects alcohol may have been involved. “I’ve never heard of anything like this,” he tells the Independent Mail. “I had to ask questions to even find out what Frogger is.”
