(Newser) – Authorities say the US Capitol and all Senate and House buildings were evacuated and fighter jets were scrambled after an airliner flying into Washington's Reagan airport went out of radio contact. The plane entered restricted airspace heading towards the US Capitol around 1:30pm today, but simply turned out to be a Piedmont Airlines flight that lost radio contact with air traffic control as it approached the area and has since landed.
