(Newser) – Despite triggering an emergency landing this week, it turns out there's no problem with the Boeing 777's communications equipment—unless you spill coffee on it. Investigators have determined that an United Airlines flight from Chicago to Frankfurt diverted to Toronto after a pilot's spilled coffee triggered an emergency hijacking alarm and wreaked havoc with equipment, CTV reports.

The United flight landed safely in Toronto with no injury to the 241 passengers on board.

I alwalys though airline coffee was to weak to do anything. Thus the alcoholic drinks. Viva alcoholic drinks! I need a beer.

If we don't have cup holders, then the coffees win!
