Humorless DMV Revokes Awesome Vanity Plate
Be careful what you put on one of these...   (Shutter Stock)

For years, some guy drove around Virginia with a vanity plate reading “EATTHE.” Not very notable, unless you realize that it appeared on a plate reading “Kids First” at the bottom. Now, Virginia has stripped him of the plate … because it's reading oral sex on children between those lines. The anonymous man, who tells his story on Reddit, notes that when he first heard that there were complaints about his plate, he assumed they were about the actual meaning of his joke—cannibalism.

Clearly, “no one in their right mind would actually consider that I was advocating cannibalism on children,” he writes. But after two letters and a hearing via phone, the DMV told him that “they came to the conclusion that my plate advocated oral sex on children, oral f****** sex on underage f****** children!! I was completely shocked and couldnt (sic) form a complete sentence afterwords.” He had to give the plate up after that, and tried to get “FUVADMV” in retribution, “but it didn’t pass muster.” Jalopnik has a picture of the “Eat the Kids First” plate.
