State media claim 55-year-old was found with microphone in mouth

(Newser) – A 55-year-old American women has been detained in Iran, according to the state-owned newspaper, which claims she was found with spying equipment hidden on her body and "a microphone" between her teeth. Customs authorities allegedly detained the woman upon her arrival from neighboring Armenia without a visa, reports the AP. The daily IRAN did not say when the woman, named as Hal Talaian, was detained, but the country's semiofficial Fars news agency quoted an unnamed official as saying she was taken into custody "about one week ago."

why any american would want to stray into the iran border is beyond me. befuddled? alzeheimers, a clone drone for the cia? right. probably another nut job who "just lost my way" oh my. my bad.

55?Must be closer to 155. With a gap between her teeth large enough to conceal a microphone, she sure gotta be old. Wonder where on her body the spy equipment was hidden? Iran, you be so silly. cinglé for you that only read Iranian. You all need to chill out and go have a beer.
