Prison hasn't done much to wipe the scary-looking grin off Jared Lee Loughner's face. A US marshal tells the Daily Beast that the Arizona shooting suspect "doesn't say much, he just sits in his cell with a smirk on his face, nothing else." Loughner has what the marshal describes as a "paranoid headlights" stare and provides only one-syllable answers to questions.

"It's almost like nobody is worthy of him speaking to anybody," says Marshal David Gonzales. At one point, "he just sat there, elbows resting on his knees, staring straight ahead and smirking. I saw him do that for about 15 minutes straight, just looking at the wall." Click for the full interview.
