Just Call Her Queen of Style

(Newser) – Queen Elizabeth's realm apparently includes the catwalk. The 81-year-old monarch is one of five women over 50 on Vogue's list of the world's 50 most glamorous women. Noted for conservative but vibrant apparel, the queen has drawn positive commentary from fashion icons like it-girl Agyness Deyn, who said of the monarch, "She's cool."

Other "mature" women on the list included actresses Dame Helen Mirren, Vanessa Redgrave, and Charlotte Rampling. Also in the spotlight were the usual suspects, such as models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Sophie Dahl, and Daisy Lowe.  British author Zadie Smith also made the list, as did artist Sam Taylor-Wood.
