Etheridge's New Girlfriend: Her 'Best Man'

You may have heard that Melissa Etheridge, who split from wife Tammy last year, has a new girlfriend. What you may not know: That girlfriend was also Etheridge’s “best man” when she wed Tammy in 2003. Etheridge and Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem have been best friends for more than 10 years and “got together three months after Melissa and Tammy broke up,” a source tells People.

The source adds that “everybody”—including Tammy—“really is in a better place now,” but Tammy’s angry, rambling blog post on the situation appears to say otherwise. Click here for more on that.
