(Newser) – Beyonce will take the lead role in yet another remake of the 1937 classic A Star Is Born, to be directed by Clint Eastwood, reports Deadline. No male lead has been cast yet (though Deadline floats names like Will Smith, Eddie Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Jon Hamm as possibilities) in the story of a love affair between an alcoholic star on the way down and a young female artist on the way up. Producers will include Jon Peters, who produced the well-known 1976 version of the movie starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
