$190-million dream is turning into a nightmare for Holly Lahti

(Newser) – A single mother from Idaho has gone missing, just days after winning a $190 million lottery. And now, the man who assaulted her in 2003—her husband—is suing for a share of the cash, reports the New York Daily News. Holly Lahti won the Jan. 4 Mega Millions jackpot, but has since vanished. Her estranged husband, when contacted by the AP, said "That's awesome. I won't have to pay child support." And since the two were never divorced or legally separated, Josh Lahti may be entitled to a share of the winnings. Click for more.

I say award the shit bag his money....THEN levy a fine for back child support, and penalties all to be paid to the mom, before he can touch it....for the EXACT amount he is awarded...plus a bit more just to piss him off

Vanished? 2 days ago, news outlets were reporting she had taken her children and went someplace tropical to "think" about things. I don't think you are looking very hard.

Sounds like the woman has a few noodles. She's hiding to stay saft, all the while getting legal and financial advice knowing her husband is a dirt bag.
