The weird lawsuit involving Dennis Kucinich and an olive pit has been settled. The Democratic lawmaker sued the operator of a congressional cafeteria for $150,000 after cracking his tooth on said pit, reports the Plain Dealer. Kucinich didn't disclose the settlement because, you know, that's private. He did, however, go into grimace-inducing details about his ordeal (infected bone, "intestinal obstruction" resulting from a reaction to antibiotics, three separate surgeries, etc.).

"The clamor for information about this incident requires that I provide at least this much information," he explains, adding that his health insurance didn't cover any of the expensive dental work. The full statement is here. (More Dennis Kucinich stories.)
