(Newser) – A Boston priest was arrested last week for stalking Conan O'Brien, AP reports, while trying to get into a taping of the show. Rev. David Ajemian allegedly sent notes to the late-night host, signing them "Padre" and referring to himself as one of O'Brien's "most dangerous fans." Police say he also contacted O'Brien's parents.

The notes kept coming even after Ajemian was asked to stop, at one point insisting, "I want a public confession before I ever consider giving you absolution." The Boston Archdiocese says that Ajemian has been placed on leave and won't be allowed to minister publicly. The AP reports that the priest might have attended Harvard at the same time as O'Brien.
