Dealer Describes OJ 'Invasion'

(Newser) – OJ Simpson led several men into a memorabilia dealer’s hotel room “in a military-style invasion” and took tens of thousands of dollars worth of items, the dealer, Bruce Fromong, testified yesterday. He kicked off a 2-day hearing in Las Vegas to determine whether Simpson and others should stand trial on charges that could put the disgraced NFL great away for life.

Simpson’s lawyer tried to show that Fromong was not as fearful as he claimed during the invasion, suggesting that he called "Inside Edition" before the police, the AP reports. “I wasn’t cowering in a corner, but having a gun pointed at me is an uncomfortable feeling,” said Fromong. He admitted selling items on eBay described as "identical to the items O.J. stole from me!"
