(Newser) – A rude, racist, and flatulent British dentist has had his license yanked. A General Dental Council committee was told that the dentist delighted in belching and breaking wind in front of colleagues and patients, the BBC reports. Colleagues testified that the dentist swore, made rude gestures behind the backs of patients he disliked, and made disparaging comments about patients from ethnic minorities—as well as elderly patients, disabled patients, and unemployed patients. After hearing the evidence, the council said it was removing his license immediately "for the protection of the public and in the public interest."
