Pilot Spots Bullet Hole in Plane

The FBI is investigating what appears to be a bullet hole spotted in the fuselage of a US Airways jet after it landed in North Carolina. The Boeing 737 was taken out of service when the nickel-sized hole was found by a pilot during a pre-flight inspection Monday at Charlotte Douglas International, reports ABC News. The hole, near the rear of the plane, apparently occurred as the jet traveled from Philadelphia, though no problems were reported during the flight. "It's very small," an airline spokeswoman told AP. "This pilot has a heck of an eye." It's unclear whether someone shot at the plane, or if the hole was caused by a stray bullet.
