Wisc. GOP Tries to Yank Duffy's '$174K' Video

Polk County Republicans tell TPM to take it down

(Newser) – When Wisconsin Rep. Sean Duffy started taking heat for complaining that he was struggling to get by on his $174,000 salary, the Polk County GOP yanked the video of the townhall meeting from its website; now it's trying to eradicate the video from the Internet, reports Talking Points Memo. TPM reposted the video; the county GOP then demanded that TPM's video provider, Blip.tv, take it down. Thus far, no dice—you can still watch it here or read all about it here.

He is probably not worth even half of his current salary. Poor, poor guy. Maybe he should get a job.

there can be no clearer case of a peasant mind oozing with Entitlement , and salivating at the easy money in store for the morally flawed Politician

I get that he's only received one paycheck at his new high salary, but to try to sound like "the everyman" when he's got that salary coming in for the next few years is obscene. By the way, no-one told him to have six kids. And, you know, you complain about having to pay back your student loans...well, your party is actively trying to destroy the ability to afford college. You'll be fine paying off your loans--the government has made sure of that. You're welcome to it, honestly. It's a huge advantage to us as a country to have an educated populace. Griping about it when you're part of the problem, not so good.
