Coming soon: nudity on an NBC show? Quite possibly, but don’t get too excited, home viewers. Though actors on the NBC pilot The Playboy Club signed contracts containing a nudity clause—virtually unheard of on broadcast networks—Variety reports that any graphic scenes would likely only be used on R-rated DVD versions of the show, internationally, or for cable syndication. The clause reads, in part, “Nudity … and/or simulated sex acts may be required in connection with player's services in the pilot and/or series."

However, insiders say no nudity was filmed for the pilot and add that there are no specific plans for future nudity if the series is picked up. And even if nude scenes are planned, SAG guidelines require actors to be given the opportunity to decline such scenes. Click for more on the show, which stars LeAnn Rimes-fiance Eddie Cibrian and focuses on a 1960s Playboy Club in Chicago. (More Playboy stories.)
