Crystal Mangum, the woman who falsely accused members of the Duke University lacrosse team of sexually assaulting her in 2006, is back in the news. Mangum, 32, was charged with stabbing her 46-year-old boyfriend early yesterday in North Carolina, the News & Observer reports. Officers responding to the stabbing call at 3:15am found an as-yet-unnamed man stabbed in the torso; he was taken to Duke Hospital for treatment.

Police say the stabbing allegedly occurred during an argument. Mangum, who was found in a nearby apartment, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
