This time, the rumors are true: Glenn Beck will end his daily show on Fox News later this year, reports the New York Times. Beck's production company, Mercury Radio Arts, announced the move today in a joint statement with Fox. No word yet on when the final show will be. Beck's contract is up in December, and he's been reportedly looking to expand his media empire in other ways, perhaps by starting his own cable channel.

It's apparently not the end of Beck's ties with Fox, though: The two will "work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties," says the statement. The Huffington Post has it in full here. (More Glenn Beck stories.)
