OJ Told His Buddies to Bring Guns

Posted Nov 13, 07 5:15 PM CST in US Crime & Courts Arts & Living

(Newser) – OJ Simpson asked his buddies to bring guns to their confrontation in a Las Vegas hotel room with two sports memorabilia dealers, one of his accomplices testified today. Walter Alexander, one of OJ's golfing pals, said Simpson wanted everyone to bring "heat." OJ also told another accomplice to draw his weapon before entering the room, he said.

"It changed the whole plan—we were to just show the guns," Alexander said. "But right before we went into the room, (OJ) told Spencer to put the gun in his hand." Simpson has maintained that he had no knowledge about guns being used in the incident. Today's testimony came in a hearing to determine if he and two accomplices must stand trial.
