Donald Trump is not a particularly giving man. Sure, he heads up a charity, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, but after reviewing that charity’s IRS forms, the Smoking Gun concludes that Trump “may be the least charitable billionaire in the United States.” Trump's foundation gave just $6.7 million to charity over the past 20 years. To put that in perspective, fellow billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s charitable contributions in 2008 alone came to $235 million.

Trump isn’t even the top giver to his own foundation—that honor goes to WWE boss Vince McMahon, who gave it $4 million in 2007 in exchange for its help promoting Wrestlemania. Trump even looks bad next to the late “queen of mean,” Leona Helmsley. Helmsley, for example, gave $5 million in the wake of 9/11, and another $5 million following Hurricane Katrina; in both cases Trump “apparently misplaced his checkbook.” (More Donald Trump stories.)
