Sergio Ramos was probably flying pretty high after his Real Madrid soccer team won the Copa del Rey ... until he dropped the trophy. Off a bus. Which then ran it over. Hours after beating archrival Barcelona, Sergia Ramos and his teammates were celebrating atop the team bus when his grip on the 33-pound trophy slipped, and the prize subsequently met its fate. The AP reports that Ramos told Europa Press agency, "the cup is OK," but a team spokesperson begs to differ.

"It is not in good shape, evidently, it was run over by a bus," she says. "It has to be fixed." For now, a replica has been placed in the club museum. Ramos was jovial on Twitter: "The whole thing about the cup was a misunderstanding, it didn't fall ... it jumped off when it reached Cibeles (the fountain in Madrid where the team celebrates its titles) and saw so many Madrid fans," he tweeted. "Hahahaha ... but don't worry ... have a good day." (More trophy stories.)
