(Newser) – Letterman and Stewart made the cut, but Leno got stiffed when Entertainment Weekly and TV Land did their list of the top 50 TV icons. Leading the list, of course, the guy who started it all:

  2. Lucille Ball
  3. Oprah Winfrey

  1. Bill Cosby
  2. Walter Cronkite
  3. Carol Burnett
  4. Mary Tyler Moore
  5. Jerry Seinfeld
  6. Homer Simpson
  7. Dick Clark
