CNN isn't the only cable channel crashing the birthers' party. Add none other than Fox News, or at least anchor Shep Smith. After denouncing Franklin Graham's questioning of the president's birth certificate credentials, Smith declared: “Fox News can confirm the president of the United States is a citizen of the United States. Period.”

Smith has had little patience with the birther movement, and his statement on yesterday's show came after Graham gave an Easter Sunday interview in which he said Obama simply had to show his birth certificate to clear up the mess, notes Mediaite. "He has produced a birth certificate," said Smith. "It shows his mother gave birth to him in Hawaii. It is stamped and sealed by the state of Hawaii. It is confirmed."
