CBS reporter Lara Logan is determined that the sexual assault she endured in Egypt's Tahrir Square will not "define" her, she tells the New York Times. She will talk more about the attack on Sunday's 60 Minutes, then stop giving interviews about it. The details are rough: “For an extended period of time, they raped me with their hands,” says Logan, who estimates 200 to 300 men took part before she was rescued after 40 minutes. "My clothes were torn to pieces."

She did not go into more detail on the February assault, other than to say, “What really struck me was how merciless they were. They really enjoyed my pain and suffering. It incited them to more violence.” Egyptians who were with Logan tried to get her out of there when they heard men start talking about attacking her. It was too late. "That was literally the moment the mob set on me.” Click for more, including Logan's belief she would be killed. (More Lara Logan assault stories.)
