(Newser) – Dwight Howard got the better of LeBron James in a battle of young superstars. Howard, who finished with 35 points, sank two free throws with five seconds left in overtime to give Orlando a 117-116 victory over Cleveland. James recorded the 14th triple double of his career with 39 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Elsewhere in the Association:

  • Utah beat Toronto 92-88 for their fifth consecutive victory, thanks in part to Carlos Boozer’s 23 points and 14 rebounds.
  • Gilbert Arenas led the Wizards to a 103-90 win over the Pacers with 30 points and 11 assists.
  • Atlanta beat Charlotte 117-109 but two of their starters, Josh Smith and rookie Acie Law, left the game with injuries.
