Donald Trump: I've Decided to Run for President 'in My Mind'

Donald Trump says his choice is made—he’s going to run. “In my mind, I have already decided,” he told Bloomberg yesterday. “I am going to announce. But I can’t do anything until the show”—Celebrity Apprentice—ends.” His goal as president? “Making our country rich and respected”: He aims to create jobs, bolster the economy, and ensure neither China nor OPEC can bully us.

“The OPEC nations will be acting much differently, and fuel prices will go down and the economy will become strong again,” he said. “They may like me or not like me, but nobody will be ripping us off.” But top Republicans said yesterday that if Trump wants to run, he had better shift his focus away from birth certificates and school records. “Some of this rhetoric and this focusing on the president’s birth, I do not think is the way for us to win the White House,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham. Click for more from Graham, on Trump. (More Donald Trump stories.)
