Limbaugh Mocks: Thank God for Obama

Rush praises president for 'single-handedly' coming up with mission

(Newser) – Even Rush Limbaugh had some good words for President Obama after the killing of Osama bin Laden, although the conservative pundit's praise had more than just a hint of sarcasm. "Thank God for President Obama," Limbaugh said. The military had wanted to bomb the compound, but "President Obama, perhaps the only qualified member in the room to deal with this, insisted on the Special Forces. No one else thought of that," he said. "Not a single intelligence adviser, not a single national security adviser, not a single military adviser came up with the idea of using SEAL Team 6 or any Special Forces."

"According to news reports, not one member of the military—not Gen. Petraeus, nobody in the intel community, nobody had the slightest idea of going in there and using special forces," belabored Limbaugh, who corrected himself multiple times after referring to Osama as Obama and broke into laughter later in the show while reading aloud from a publication that took his earlier comments literally. Limbaugh sounded more sincere when he said he was “as proud of the US military as I have been in a long time," ABC News notes.

He laughed when he found out someone was taking his comments seriously. I live in a town where a good majority of the folks take all his comments seriously and regurgitate them as fact. I think he over estimates the intelligence and discernment abilities of his listeners.

Next thing the libs will do is try to package this as a Kennedy's crisis of October. Nonsense. Rush is right, totally. The Harvard do-nothing child was forced into action by accumulating intel. He couldn't afford to pass getting OBL like Clinton did. In fact, Wikileaks had cursory intel that could threaten and pressuring to route the entire situation. The entire scenario was a plan which had no input from a propped up "present voting" junior Senator. Sorry, there just isn't a noble characterization to be given him. He HAD to do something and he used Bush's legacy in the military he once despised & mistrusted to do it. We are simply viewing the rearing up, the grooming of a child by circumstance, and we now are to Oooo-n-awe that the office has forced him into it? If you are doing that you are the raging gullible liberal having deeply succumbed to the pathology of a the socialist mental disorder....AKA one symptom, you believe truth is hate.
