(Newser) – Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver might be calling their split "amicable," but sources tell TMZ Shriver has actually been "miserable" in the marriage for a very long time. She reportedly moved out months ago, after years of feeling ignored and unappreciated; the couple has spent "very little time together" the past few years. It just got worse when Schwarzenegger left office and got back into the movie business, prompting Shriver to complain he was becoming erratic and "unstable."

She's also complained about her husband's huge ego, womanizing ways, and general "craziness," sources say, but her religious views caused her to struggle with the decision to divorce. Says one, "She's been a lost soul for a long time." Click to read the couple's official statement.
