Texas Rep. will run for Republican nomination

And another one throws his hat (officially) into the ring: Ron Paul announced today that he will make his third attempt at the presidency in 2012. "Time has come around to the point where the people are agreeing with much of what I've been saying for 30 years. So, I think the time is right," the Texas representative, 75, tells Good Morning America. Paul, who first ran for president as a Libertarian in 1988, will seek the GOP nomination; he made his announcement from New Hampshire, where he is holding his first campaign event today, the AP reports.
