Penelope Cruz Cries When Talking About New Son in Vogue Interview
Actress Penelope Cruz poses during a photo call for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the 64th international film festival, in Cannes, southern France, Saturday, May 14, 2011.    (Joel Ryan)

Famously private Penelope Cruz reveals her overwhelming feelings as a new mother in the June issue of Vogue. Beginning to cry, she says she felt love for her baby Leonardo "from the first second" he was born in January and when a parent sees their new baby's face they are "transformed forever."

Baby pictures of little Leonardo are hard to come by—Cruz is adamant about keeping her son away from the limelight and says she and husband Javier Bardem want to make sure his life is "as anonymous as possible." Cruz is currently promoting her new film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, co-starring Johnny Depp. Click to see Vogue's photos of Cruz, shot by Mario Testino.
