How to Test Positive for Cocaine— Er, Cheese
Hey, cheese lovers: Consumption of cheese might impair cops' ability to determine if you're under the influence of cocaine.   (PRNewsFoto/Pizza Hut)

It turns out that you might not want to drive under the influence of, say, a taco: Police in Asheville, NC, thought they had busted a California man who was fleeing arrest under the influence of alcohol. He was also carrying cases of food that tested positive for cocaine. A breathalyzer later showed no trace of alcohol, and four days in jail and further testing showed the real culprits: cheese and certain types of dough, found in the man's coolers, which can fool common drug tests. The kicker: The man, a legal US citizen, says his command of English is poor and he didn't understand officers' demands to pull over, reports the Asheville Citizen-Times. (More cocaine stories.)
