Aspiring model LaShawna Threatt’s 30th birthday turned tragic yesterday when she plunged from the 10th story window of an Atlanta hotel. Threatt, mom to a 15-year-old girl, was “play fighting” with Ciara Williams at her birthday party when they crashed through a thick window at around 3:15am, police say. Threatt died after landing on a sunroof four or five stories down; Williams rolled off the sunroof and fell another 20 feet. She is in critical condition, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
"LaShawna is a mess, a silly goofball. She likes to play fight and tickle you. They had just gotten in the hotel and were having a good time," says a friend who did not attend the party. "My friends who were there, said it was so random. They literally just fell out the window. They are two small girls and I am trying to figure out how the hell two small girls could break a window like that." Police say there was no “malicious act” or foul play and are investigating it as an accident.
