The often-tipsy emissary from MTV-land may have finally gone a tad too far in Italy. Snooki is in custody after a car crash involving a cop car in Florence. A car she was driving plowed into into the cruiser, reports TMZ. One cop was taken away by ambulance in a neck brace. Snooki's passenger, either Deena or JWoww, depending on the press report, had to crawl from a window to exit Snooki's car, which was scraped up against a wall.
Oddly enough, alcohol was apparently not part of the accident—according to MTV—though Italian cops were seen giving the reality starlet a breathalyzer test. The Jersey Shore crew has been tearing up bars and headlines in Italy as their latest season is filmed, but this episode could be a truly bad break for Snooki and the show. "Italian court cases are painfully niggling and not always friendly to foreigners—just ask Amanda Knox," notes the Daily Beast. Trials typically take years to complete, and Snooki could face serious charges if the cop she struck is seriously injured—though as of now, she has not been formally charged.
