Education is so generally poor that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are opting to home-school their brood. "I do think we live in a different age and the education system hasn't caught up with our children and our way of life," Jolie said. She even finds home schoolwork a tad boring. "We travel and I'm the first person to say, 'Get the schoolwork done as quickly as possible and let's go out and explore,'" she tells the Independent. "I'd rather them go to a museum and learn to play guitar and read a book they love."

The Jolie-Pitt's nomadic lifestyle also makes conventional education nearly impossible. The parents and 6 kids divide their time among film locations and homes in New Orleans and the south of France. The children are generally following the French lycée system taught by their own individual nannies and specialist teachers. "I wish there was a book every parent could read that tells you how to navigate through the school system, and how to tailor the education for your children and their interests," said Jolie.
