Three missile strikes by US drones along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border today have killed 16 people, reports AP. The Waziristan strikes come just two days after another drone attack killed a top al-Qaeda commander. Since the May 2 attack that killed Osama bin Laden, both al-Qaeda attacks and US missile strikes have stepped up around Pakistan. More than 150 people have died in suicide bombings and other attacks, carried out in retaliation for the assassination of the terrorist leader.
