(Newser) – The Oprah Winfrey Show may be over, but there are still a few things its host wants to achieve. At the top of the list: a confession from OJ Simpson, she said in an interview on Thursday. “I have a dream of OJ Simpson confessing to me,” she said. “And I am going to make that happen, people.” The comment won cheers from the crowd at the cable industry’s annual Cable Show in Chicago, notes the Hollywood Reporter.

“I don’t just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson,” Oprah said. He’s not the only guest in her sights: Oprah also is hoping to get Susan Smith, currently doing life in South Carolina for the murder of her two kids, on her upcoming show. Oprah’s Next Chapter is set to premiere in January on the Oprah Winfrey Network. The daytime queen now has “the ability to commit my full energy” to the channel after a few bumps in the road. “This really is the moment I’ve been waiting for."

Legally speaking, OJ would be fool to confess. If he confesses to another crime, he would probably be denied bail for his current incarceration.

I'd like to see the debate between her and F Lee Baily who is still defending him...How about starting there...
