This is clearly abuse of power, and the only reason why we see these people getting arrested is not because of officers being threatened, but lawenforcement not being held accountable, with out the tapes its just heresay and cops walk away. There was no threat here AT ALL other than they might of missed proper protocol. They are enforcing this law to arrest Gen Public for taping, and treating it as a felony that is equal to rape. Damn crazy for this homeowner to get this abuse. Good thing it was not of my family, cause I would act. Mind you there are situations officers need to exercise the ability to arrest when someone threatens or fails to comply when in direct involvement, although thats not the case here. This is BS. All cops are public servants, subject to our gaze and review.

wow!!! no one should be arrested for videoing any thing in there front yard( we should be allowed to video the cops at all times). these cops are wrong and have violated the trust of the people. clearly this is abuse of power and the misuse of power of arrest. arrest was never to be used for intimidation or punishment. it was to be use to keep the community safe by removing threats. clearly the cops have chosen to misuse there power. and to intimidate. and that is why no one trusts the cops. and the cops will keep this type of behavior up intill they have offended so many citizens that we will all stand up against them and by that time it will be to late just to talk it out we will demand change. i wish the cops would see that this is wrong and change there ways, but they wont because the taste power over others is what most cops get off on. bottom line the cops have to much unchecked power and that has to change and it will, just give it time and stay out of the cops way. and no mercy for the cops when the change comes.strong punishment for cops that abuse there power!!!!!!!!!!!!!
