Johnny Knoxville Blogs Tribute to Ryan Dunn

'Dear friend' was a good laugher, equally good listener

(Newser) – At Ryan Dunn's memorial last week, Johnny Knoxville found himself unable to do anything other than mumble and try not to cry. He makes up for it with a touching tribute to his friend and co-star on his blog, writing that his world is "about 134% less funny" without the quick-to-laugh Dunn in it. But Dunn could also be serious, and was a "great listener," always available to talk over a game of pool.

"Ryan also had an enormous capacity to love. His friends and family got a lot, but a lion's share of that went to his sweet and beautiful Angie," Knoxville continues, noting that Dunn was always wondering out loud how he got such a great girlfriend. "Well, it sure wasn't because of the way he smelled that's for sure. ... It was because he had a pure, open heart." Click for more from Knoxville's tribute.

(NEWSER) - New judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato had their first X Factor taping yesterday, and of course there were rumors of bad behavior. TMZ reports that Spears stormed off the set upset after a contestant did a less-than-stellar version of her song "Hold It Against Me," forcing the next four contestants to audition in front of the remaining judges while her seat stayed empty. (NEWSER) - According to a new lawsuit, Sharon Stone hired a nanny … then wouldn't let her speak to Stone's children, lest they pick up her Filipino accent. This according to Erlinda T. Elemen, who worked as Stone's live-in housekeeper and nanny for five years, and who claims Stone made other racially derogatory comments around her. Elemen claims she was fired after she asked Stone to pay her overtime wages that the actress had originally withheld; Stone allegedly paid her but screamed at her and called her a thief, then fired her for taking the pay.
