Coheed and Cambria was about to open for Soundgarden, but it looks like bassist Mike Todd had things other than soundcheck on his mind. He allegedly robbed a Massachusetts pharmacy just hours before yesterday's performance. Police say Todd entered a Walgreens around 1pm, told an employee he had a bomb, and demanded Oxycontin. After getting six bottles of it, he left in a taxi, the New York Post reports.

The 30-year-old was arrested soon after at the Comcast Center, where his band opened without him. A statement on the official Coheed and Cambria Tumblr page says the band considers the charges "very serious" and that Todd will not be appearing during the rest of the tour. It continues, "We are surprised to say the least and will address the situation with Michael after the tour."
