Rebekah Brooks may be out of a job after her resignation from Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, but she won't be out of cash. The one-time News of the World editor will get a severance package of about $5.6 million, reports the Independent. The last editor of the now-defunct tabloid, Colin Myler, will get about $3.2 million. No word yet on the payout for Dow Jones CEO Les Hinton after his resignation, but it will likely be comparable. And his, too, will have a gag order prohibiting him from airing the company's dirty laundry, notes the Independent. (More News Corp stories.)
