Radio talk-show host Laura Ingraham says $11,000 worth of jewelry was taken from her checked luggage and she believes the theft happened at New Jersey's Newark Airport. Port Authority police are investigating Saturday's theft report. Ingraham says she had taken a Continental Airlines flight out of Newark and discovered later that her bag had been rifled through. A jewelry bag had been opened and bracelets, necklaces, rings, and a gold cross on a gold chain were stolen, according to the report.

Ingraham told the Daily Caller that the cross was from her Catholic baptism, had come from the Vatican, and had been blessed by the pope. (More Laura Ingraham stories.)
