The cartoon "is a very exciting story that tells the facts about who let down the Islamic religion and the Prophet, and how the Arab leaders are agents of the West," according to its creator.   (Quilliam)

(Newser) – Islamic extremists are working on an animated movie to attract junior jihadis to the cause, monitors of militant websites say. The al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula cartoon will depict raids, armed engagements and assassinations, and offer "an alternative to the poison that is broadcast by other TV channels to our children and youth," according to an extremist who posted several stills of the film online.

Anti-terror analysts say they're not too worried about al-Qaeda animation, noting that children are a lot likelier to be indoctrinated by their parents than by cartoon characters. “I don’t regard this as the most worrying thing I’ve seen in the past 10 minutes, never mind the past 10 days," an analyst tells the Washington Post.
