(Newser) – Does Amazon's Kindle count as a toy? It must now, because starting Sunday it’ll be sold at Toys 'R' Us stores, the companies have announced. It’s not the first retail outlet to carry Amazon's e-reader, but it is the least usual suspect of the bunch. Mashable thinks it’s a good move, because it will help push the Kindle as an educational tool and potential back-to-school item.

They're not doing it to be pioneers for education, It's called capitalism and there happens to be a market for it.

If every big corporation did one thing like this to encourage education, I'd curb my complaining about their soulless tyrannical power-hunger by like, at least 5-10%
