Mike Huckabee is turning 9/11 into a cartoon to explain the day's events and its aftermath to kids, reports the Daily News. His Learn Our History series is marketing 9/11 and the War on Terror for $9.95, complete with animated versions of George W. Bush shouting, "I can hear you!" and Osama bin Laden yelling, "Death to America!"

Former NYC fire chief Jim Richards hates the idea. "The timing is right before 9/11, he's trying to punctuate it," he told MSNBC's Martin Bashir, notes the Daily Mail. "He going to get money out of this." Nor is the Gothamist blog a fan: "See, who says 9/11 has to be boring. Of course, there's nothing in that clip about the government deciding ten years later to screw over the cancer-stricken heroes who rushed to the scene ..." (More Mike Huckabee stories.)
