Life apparently isn't so, so perfect in Gwyneth Paltrow land. The super-mom actress/chef/GOOPer/singer has found that marriage to Coldplay's Chris Martin isn't "all rosy." Sometimes it's "hard being with someone for a long time," Paltrow admits in next month's Elle. "We go through periods that aren't all rosy. Life is long and you never know what's going to happen." She still thinks she made a "good choice" because Martin is "such a good dad," notes MSNBC. If "God forbid, we were ever not to be together, I respect him so much as the father of my children."

Paltrow admits it's tough to launch a singing career around a man she considers "a musical genius." It's like "living with Picasso, and being like, 'Should I make a little something-something?'" she notes. As for her career, Paltrow has only committed to doing "short jobs" for the time being, because if "I was still starring in three movies every year, there's no way that I'd be the person my kids want when they fall down."
