(Newser) – The soaring Celtics won again last night, though the Charlotte Bobcats brought it down to the wire, reports the Boston Globe. With a two-point lead and five seconds on the clock, Charlotte fans were already celebrating a victory when Ray Allen drained a three-pointer to bring the final score to 96-95. Elsewhere in the Eastern Conference:

  • Chris Bosh sank a stunning 41 points for Toronto, but LeBron James countered with a 37-point triple-double and the other Cavaliers pitched in to help Cleveland win it, 111-108.
  • A struggling Miami fell 120-99 to surging Orlando in spite of Dwyane Wade's 32 points, Ricky Davis's 23 and Shaq's 20.
