New Governor Chris Christie defends his appointment of a Muslim American to a state judgeship. Several critics have been vocing their opinionof this selection citing that Muslims holding such positions would use their influence to effect Sharia lwas into the court system. Governor Chrisite has stated Sharia law has nothing to do with the appointment of Sohail Mohammed, and that, "“this Sharia law business is crap. It’s just crazy. And I’m tired of dealing with the crazies. It’s just unnecessary to be accusing this guy of things just because of his religious background. This Sharia law business is crap.
