Rebekah Brooks told to 'travel the world,' then come back for new job

(Newser) – Rebekah Brooks resigned as chief executive of News International amid the phone hacking scandal, but apparently that doesn't really mean anything. A source tells the Telegraph Brooks is still on the company payroll, although Brooks herself won't comment. “My understanding is that Rupert [Murdoch] has told her to travel the world on him for a year and then he will find a job for her when the scandal has died down,” says the source.

The golden parachute for upper management blossoms out for all the world to see again...This will only stop when we send people like this to do hard time and confiscate all their assets and give the money to the victims.
